Ca Del Bosco Vintage Collection Satèn recalls the enchanting sensuality that distinguishes the woman in your heart. One of those wines that make the senses vibrate. Vintage Collection Satèn, the femininity and elegance of silk, is a special interpretation of a Franciacorta: the harmonious marriage between sun and white grapes. And a little secret: during the tirage, the phase in which sugars and yeasts are added to start the second fermentation in the bottle, less sugar is added to the Satèn. Finally, a long period of aging enhances a soft elegance in every single bottle. Delicious as an aperitif, it is an excellent conversation wine.

Erbusco, Adro, Cazzago San Martino, Corte Franca and Passirano.
2 Pinot Bianco vineyards with an average age of 26 years, located in the Municipality of Passirano.

AVERAGE YIELD PER HECTARE
7,500 kilograms of grapes, equivalent to 3,220 liters of wine (wine yield: 43%).

VINIFICATION
The Franciacorta Vintage Collections are the result of a careful selection of the grapes and a skilful vinification conducted in full compliance with the Ca ‚del Bosco Method. The grapes, freshly picked by hand in small boxes, are classified and cooled. Each bunch is selected by expert eyes and hands, to then benefit from exclusive „grape spas“. A particular washing system
and hydromassage of the bunches, through three soaking tanks and a drying tunnel. After pressing in the absence of oxygen, all the musts of the base wines ferment in small oak barrels. To seek maximum aromatic complexity and expressive power, without losing elegance, barrel elevation has one
duration of only 5 months. A pair of floating tanks allows the decanting of wines by gravity, from small barrels to aging tanks. After 7 months from the harvest, the cuvée is created. The Vintage Collection Satèn 2013 is the result of a skilful combination of 16 Chardonnay and Pinot base wines
White. The addition of sugars in smaller quantities than other Franciacortas gives it creaminess and a particular profile, elegant and soft, further strengthened by a long aging in bottle. The dégorgement takes place in the absence of oxygen, using a unique system in the world, designed and patented by Ca ‚del Bosco. This avoids oxidative shocks and further additions of sulphites, making our Franciacortas purer, more pleasant and longer-lived. Finally, each packaged bottle is uniquely marked, to ensure its traceability.
