Diageo Special Release 2022

This year’s special edition Scotch Whisky Collection “Elusive Expressions” features eight finely finished whiskies, each hand-selected to bring a taste of Scotland to every enthusiast’s home.

The 2022 collection, hand-selected by Master Blender Dr. Craig Wilson, includes Scotch whiskies from some of the oldest whisky distilleries in Scotland.

The collection includes:

• The dark, sweet and rich “Mortlach,” with a depth of ginger, unique to the Speyside Dufftown distillery
• A lively and sweet expression of “The Singleton of Glen Ord,” aged in refills of American and European oak, then matured twice in barrels topped with wine
• A true expression of “Lagavulin,” matured in a combination of virgin oak barrels and our smokiest reserves
• “Talisker 11-Year-Old, elemental in character but also classic with smoky notes of maritime malt.
• An unusual “Clynelish” with only a slight trace of wax and added sweetness and spice from a maturation in American Oak refills, then finished in PX/Oloroso seasoned barrels
• A rare expression of “Cardhu,” finished in Jamaican Rum barrels for a vibrant tropical sweetness
• The soft and creamy “Oban 10-Year-Old” with richly sweet fruitiness, light smoke and salty notes
• And for the first time ever, the rich and exquisite “Cameronbridge 26-Year-Old”
