Achel Brune Trappist Beer Cl 33

The nose has a slightly sweet touch-the alcohol (8 vol.% Alc) is not extraneous but this strong beer still comes across as fresh. The taste is full-bodied and crisp on the tongue. Slightly sweet with a hint of ripe fruit, but especially the coffee bitterness determine the character of this beer. Even the long ending is dominated by this bitterness.
