Amarone Tommasi Della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2018
Amarone Classico, a bottle you can open and enjoy at the table without feeling overwhelmed. Elegance, roundness but never cloying: these are the traits of Tommasi’s flagship wine.
Each vintage offers nuances that grow over the years, which is why we suggest the serious oenophile invest in more than one bottle for his or her cellar. The most disciplined of collectors will enjoy a memorable vertical in a few years or decades.
Tommasi’s approach to Amarone remains in the tradition, favoring elegance and balance. Notes of spice, mocha and wild herbs enrich a lingering, juicy, fruity bouquet of black cherry, baked plum and dried fruit.

Deep ruby red with garnet hues. On the nose, it has complex aromatic notes from fruit in spirit to bitter spices, black pepper, licorice and cocoa. In the mouth it is intense, highly structured, powerful with sumptuous expression of ripe fruit. The finish is pleasantly sinuous and dry.

Elegance and structure make it perfect with feathered and furred game, red meats, and long-aged cheeses. It is the ideal companion for long conversations.
