Annamaria Clementi Dosage Zero 2013 Ca Del Bosco Cl 75
Absolute.
Free of all limits, a value in constant becoming.
Like the exclusive commitment necessary to create this Franciacorta dedicated to
Annamaria Clementi
, founder of Ca’ del Bosco and mother of Maurizio Zanella.
No compromise, no concession.
Only the best of the grapes selected in the various crus are predestined for this iconic wine. And only in the best vintages.
Meticulous vinification and a very long bottle aging that goes on for at least seven years in contact with the yeasts: this is how a great wine is created, a unicum with a magnificent golden color and very fine perlage.
An aroma of extraordinary complexity, a flavor of exceptional fullness and persistence. An absolute Franciacorta.

HARVEST
2013. Winter with frequent snowfall, but rather mild. Rainy and very cold spring. Early stages of the vine cycle marked by these weather obstacles: late bud break and reduced bud fertility. Flowering took place in early June, always accompanied by unfavorable weather conditions. From mid-April until the second decade of June, it rained every 2 days, but with the arrival of summer, the weather changed dramatically to the weather extremes of recent years, with highs approaching 40°C. With fairly regular intervals thunderstorms arrived to quench the vines. When the grapes were ready for harvest after mid-August, heavy rain heavily marred the vintage. After so many years, we saw gray mold again, which necessitated bunch sorting operations both in the field and in the winery. Never before has our grape sorting and washing facility been as crucial as it was this year in changing the face of this seemingly difficult, but by us rendered fine Millesimo.
