Appleton Estate 21 years: the numerical reference alludes to the minimum years of aging, which is done inside carefully selected American oak barrels.
The Blend: A selection of Appleton Estate’s finest rums, aged for a minimum of 21 years.
Appearance: A coppery tawny shade with exceptional purity.
Bouquet: Decisive but with delicate citrus, spicy and woody notes. One also discovers the sweetness of orange zest, the intensity of vanilla, the richness of nutmeg, the warm taste of coffee, and hints of cocoa.
Finish: Long, dry finish in which the sweetness of brown sugar does not attack the palate.
How to enjoy it: To be savored strictly neat on intimate evenings. For a maximum tasting experience, a snifter glass is recommended.
