Balvenie 12 yo Doublewood whisky is
a 12-year-old single malt that acquires its distinctive character through maturation performed in two types of wood. During the maturation period it is transferred from a traditional whiskey oak cask to a first European oak sherry cask. Each stage imparts different qualities to the single malt-the traditional casks soften and add character, while the sherry wood imparts depth and fullness of flavor.

Soft and smooth with beautifully combined flavors ~ nutty sweetness, cinnamon spice and a delicately proportioned sherry layer.
