Barbaresco DOCG Autinbej 2021
Barbaresco Autinbej is the result of blending the best estate crus, carefully selected for their beauty and sunny exposure. This wine represents a return to the roots, recreating Barbaresco as it used to be made, combining high altitude vineyards to produce a Nebbiolo of exceptional quality. Its first harvest in 2014 was a challenge that resulted in an extraordinary wine, thanks to the favorable weather conditions in the Barbaresco area.

VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
The grapes are vinified traditionally with maceration on the skins for 9-15 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wine matures for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by bottle aging for at least 4 months before release.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
- Color: Deep garnet red with antique pink highlights
- Nose: Intense and fruity, with notes of raspberry, jam, violet and sweet spices
- Taste: Warm, lingering and slightly tannic, with a fruity aftertaste
IDEAL PAIRINGS
Because of its structure and fruity intensity, Barbaresco Autinbej pairs perfectly with red meats, but it also goes well with grilled or fried duck and pork, especially when served with sweet and sour or spicy sauces.

CONSERVATION
Autinbej Barbaresco expresses itself with great personality as early as 3 years after harvest and promises to improve further for 10-15 years. It is recommended that it be stored lying down, in the dark and at a constant temperature.
