The grapes destined for the production of this wine come from vineyards, located on hills with good slopes characterized by calcareous clay soils interspersed with compact layers of sandstone and covered with quartzose sands and very fine silt, capable of ensuring the wine a broad structure, rich in trace elements and endowing it with a vigorous, yet balanced character and guaranteeing a wide expression of the bouquet.

Tasting Notes
The color is deep garnet red with ruby hues. The aroma is intense and persistent with distinct hints of spices, cinnamon, absinthe, tobacco and scrub rose. The taste is full and elegant, with enveloping and soft tannins. Pleasing are the spice and woodiness that blend seamlessly.
Pairings
It is an ideal companion to traditional Langarole egg pastas (Tajarin), meat ravioli, red meat dishes, boiled and braised meats and game. It prefers sheep and goat tomes and aged hard cheeses.
