Billecart Elisabeth Salmon Champagne Brut Rosé Millésime 2008
Depth and complexity
The 2008 vintage of the Elisabeth Salmon cuvée is an expression of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay terroirs. It invites a unique sensory experience, the result of more than a decade of patience.
The exacting dimensions of ancestral know-how recognized through the art of blending and the rigorous selection of an exceptional vintage. This cuvée is distinguished by the liveliness and purity of its unique and extremely refined character.
A very bright visual presence with delicate iridescent copper highlights and a deep salmon-pink hue.
A balanced intensity, delicate and tasty at the same time, with the harmonious development of mouthwatering flavors (tangerine, blood orange and rennet apple pie). A broad, full-bodied structure on the palate, evolving into a chalky tip with a lingering finish of cedar zest and red and white currants.
A refreshing sensory expression of citrus zest and small red fruit jelly. Exquisite sensation of rich and complex aromatic breadth (Plougastel strawberry, Mara des Bois strawberry and white peach). Pleasant refined and ripe olfactory notes, delicately expressing the inimitable aromas of sweet spices and wild raspberry pulp.
This extremely refined grand wine flaunts a personality characterized by texture and delicate flavors. An aromatic charm of a rare mineral dimension to accompany a delicious Bresse chicken with shrimp or Breton king prawns.Serving temperature: 11-12°
