Bruno Rocca Barbaresco DOCG Currà 2018

Purchased in 2001, this vineyard represents the “promised land.” Four hectares of vineyards that give a superior Barbaresco. Absolute refinement and personality: these are the characteristics that, since 2012, have moved people to believe in its fruits.Currà is named after the curate of the parish of Neive (the curà, in Piedmontese): it is thought that in the past the land was owned by the Church, which has always been careful in its choice of rents. The location, soil and microclimate give the wine produced here absolute elegance, pleasant and harmonious tannins.

Production:40 hl/hectare
Vinification:in stainless steel for about 20-25 days
Maturation:12 months in barrels and 12 months in large barrels, all French oak
Color:ruby with garnet highlights
Nose:Striking hints of red fruit (currant and raspberry) that recall fresh, floral notes of rose and geranium
Taste:firm and linear with silky tannins and a long persistence
