Caeles Grillo is a pure wine made from Grillo grapes grown on the Borgo Guarini estate in the Trapani countryside. Certified organic and vegan, it was born in a very particular cru characterized by a tendentially silty soil that gives a greasy feel between the fingers. The Caeles Grillo, interpreting Borgo Guarini’s multifaceted terroir, presents itself as a white of marked sapidity with an intense straw yellow color and an acid shoulder that gives immediate elegance. The bouquet is complex and strong in personality due to the aromatic contribution of thiols, the aromatic precursors of this grape and responsible for those fresh and exotic fragrances, such as pink grapefruit and passion fruit, that are immediately perceived in the glass along with nuances of Mediterranean scrub. A clean, vertical wine that can overcome any consumer misconceptions about possible flaws in organic wines.
