This bottling, in particular, is dedicated to David “Sarge” Charran, a blended rum resulting from the assemblage of 5 barrels from 1996, aged for 22 years in a tropical climate-David “Sarge” Charran, the sergeant, was one of the managers of the Caroni distillery. Deep ambercolor, the nose isbroad and intense, with hints of exotic fruit, sweet citrus and licorice; the palate iswarm, smooth, enveloping, with great aromatic richness . Bottled at full alcohol content of 66.5 proof, it is an explosive Caroni rum!
A very limited production, just a few bottles that are sure to be coveted by collectors and enthusiasts.
