Chablis Domaine William Fevre 2020 Cl 75
1959 was the year in Chablis when William Fèvre created the winery that bears his name and in which he produced the first vintage of his wines from a 7-hectare property. In 1998 the William Fèvre company was acquired by the Henriot family, champagne producers in Reims. At present, William Fèvre is considered one of the wineries with the largest expanse of estate vineyards in the Chablis area: in fact, the Henriot family has continued to invest by acquiring new plots in the most vocated areas of the appellation so much so that today the property has 78 hectares, divided into 90 plots, of which 15.9 are classified Premier Cru and 15.2 Grand Cru. The great attention paid to the landscape and the surrounding environment allowed the William Fèvre company to acquire, in February 2015, the important mention Haute Valeur Environnementale, which indicates the company’s low impact on the territory. William Fèvre wines are characterized by citrus notes, freshness and minerality.
Fresh and supple, the wine is characterized by mineral notes typical of the appellation.
Fish dishes, grilled or in light sauce; various seafood, oysters and sushi.
