The Queen of Liqueurs is a blend of old Chartreuse Jaune, each year it is offered in a limited edition, bottled at 43%, the edition on the market today is the 2019 version of only 1,300 bottles for worldwide export. The idea of Reine des Liqueurs was born in 2010, at the taste level it wants to take up the profile of the legendary “Tarragone Jaunes” that until 1972 were bottled precisely at 43% . The name Reine Des Liqueurs was given to her by Russia’s Tsar Nicholas II, who fell in love with her to such an extent that he called her precisely the Queen of All Liqueurs. Indeed, from 1860 to 1903 Chartreuse reached all the world’s greatest tables, including those of European royal houses.
