It is a rare “evening vermouth” and was named After Theater because of the Piedmontese tradition of drinking a small cup of fresh vermouth accompanied by a lemon zest in the evening, perhaps after attending some performance at one of the historic theaters in the Savoy capital.
FEATURES
Cocchi Vermouth Amaro was created based on Giulio Cocchi’s original recipe where mugwort was enriched with rhubarb, quassia wood, chiretta and a double infusion of China.
The addition of Barolo Chinato to the base wine gives delicately red highlights and an additional soft, complex note, in true Cocchi style.
HOW TO EARN IT
The richness of bitter principles makes this Vermouth an invigorating aperitif and a pleasant end to a meal.
Today it is perfect as a bitter ingredient in the best cocktails.
