Domaine Faiveley Pinot Noir Bourgogne 2021
With 122 hectares of property, Domaine Faiveley represents one of the largest and most prestigious estates in Burgundy, with a distinct specialization in the noblest crus of the Côte d’Or.
For seven generations the Domaine, now led by the seventh generation, Erwan and sister Eve Faiveley, is one of the few to produce many of the most prestigious “Grand Cru” (14) and “Premier Cru” (24) including Corton Charlemagne, Clos de Vougeot, Corton Clos des Corton, Echezeaux, Vosne-Romanée, GEvrey Chambertin, Clos de Béze, etc.
This Bourgogne is left to mature, true to the Domaine tradition, in large wooden barrels in the cellars of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
Intense ruby red color with a fruity aroma that is well representative of Pinot Noir. Round and soft on the attack the juice is totally blended with the tannins. It releases with finesse and beautiful intensity.
