Domaine Francois Feuillet Bourgogne Rouge 2018
Domaine François Feuillet is based in the village of Chevannes and was born from the collaboration between two different generations, but united by a common passion for wine: François Feuillet, a prominent French businessman, and David Duband, a young winemaker. François Feuillet in love with Burgundy began to buy vineyards here since the 1990s, preferring to purchase small parcels of land located in the villages of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges. Also in the 1990s François Feuillet met oenologist David Duband, when the latter had just finished his studies in oenology in Beaune. A working partnership began between the two that continues to this day. Domaine François Feuillet produced, in 1998, its first Grand Cru Echézeaux, and has continued to the present day acquisitions in the best Grand Cru and Premier Cru in the area. Currently, Domaine François Feuillet’s properties also extend into the villages of Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. Even in winemaking, winemaker David Duband prefers a non-interventionist approach so as to produce wines that are typical, harmonious, balanced, and capable of reflecting each individual parcel.
