The Labet family has historical ties to Burgundy where they own Domaine Pierre Labet in Beaune. The current owner is François Labet who, in addition to overseeing the production of wines under the Domaine Pierre Labet label, has also managed the historic Domaine Château de La Tour in Clos de Vougeot since 1986. Historical documents attest that the Labet family has been present in Burgundy for over 500 years and is strongly rooted in the area so much so that François Labet’s grandfather, among other things, was also mayor of Beaune.

The vineyards of Domaine Pierre Labet are managed like those of Château de La Tour: François Labet places great importance on their care using his own massed selections made from material from the old estate vineyard Premier Cru Coucherias in Beaune, and implementing agronomic management limited to the use of copper, sulfur and biodynamic preparations.
The wines of Domaine Pierre Labet express the typicality of each individual vineyard, with a perfect balance between minerality and fruit.
