Don Papa Rum derives his name from Papa Isio, a great revolutionary hero in the war to liberate the Philippines from Spanish rule. His legendary energy and indomitable spirit survive in every bottle that bears his name today.
Don Papa Rum is produced, aged and bottled in Negros Island, the most important sugarcane producing area in the entire Philippines. This beautiful island, characterized by rugged mountain ranges, large white beaches and impenetrable lush jungles, produces some of the fullest and sweetest cane sugar in the world thanks to its volcanic soil.
Launched in 2012 in the Philippines, Don Papa Rum immediately began to attract the interest of all major Western markets, from the United States to Europe.
