History and Inspiration: Eminente is native to “Isla del Cocodrilo,” named for its crocodile-like shape and the presence of these reptiles. César Martí created this rum by taking inspiration from 19th-century Cuban sugarcane brandy and trying to recreate its complexity.
Method of Production: Eminente rum is the result of a skillful combination of aged aguardientes and light rums. The aguardiente adds complexity and depth to the aromas, while the light rum contributes vitality through the strength of the alcohol. Reserva contains 70 percent aged spirit, the highest percentage among all Cuban rums.
