Castellaro Estate Corinth 2018
Reborn from the oldest vines of the Aeolian Islands, Corinth Black is a work of eno-archaeology.
It expresses the best qualities of persistence and elegance of its origins.
It is an ancestral wine with a ruby red color that smells of forest and ripe fruit and is elegant, persistent and vigorous on the palate.
It is offered in 100% purity to give a wine with unique characters.
Corinth Black is a very ancient grape variety of Greek origin, originating from the lands of the City of the same name and introduced to Sicily during the period of Hellenic colonization.
The power of the wind, from which the Aeolian Islands take their name, the minerality of the volcanic soils, the knowledge and harmony in the work of our boys in the vineyard, give us the pride to carry the flag of this vine in the world. Vinified in French oak barrels with maceration for more than 10 days, it is racked into barrels for aging for at least one year.
Quite simply, a great Italian red wine.
