Etna Bianco Tenuta San Michele 2021 Murgo
After 20 years since the first production of Murgo Etna bianco we have created a new wine made with innovative criteria.
The careful selection of grapes from the best lots in the St. Michael’s vineyard brings a better balance in its components, enhancing its minerality, breadth and persistence. Partial aging in oak with blond toasting safeguards the wine’s aromatic characteristics, imparting greater complexity and balance.
Destemming of grapes and cold maceration (5-8°C) in stainless steel vats for 15 hours. Soft pressing and static decantation for 1-2 days at 5-8°C in insulated tanks. Temperature-controlled fermentation (16-18°C) in steel and French barriques. Assembly and aging in steel tanks and barriques (blond toast) for a minimum period of 7 months. After bottling, the wine is aged in the bottle for another 3 months before marketing
