The Eudes winery is located in the southeastern part of Etna, more precisely its vineyards develop on the slopes of Monte Gorna, at about 700-750 m a.s.l. with a southern exposure, for a total of 5 hectares of vineyards. The main vines used are the native varieties of the area, such as Carricante, Catarratto and Nerello Mascalese with the latter located in a vineyard with an average age of 140 years. The development project of the company starts from Giovanni’s father who falls in love with this land at the end of the 70s, and only after various negotiations was he able to realize his dream, the purchase of the land of which the company is now made up; dream that today is carried on by his son Giovanni Messina and Laura Torrisi; scrupulous emerging talents who reap the beautiful fruits of this land.
