D Wine is a Brandy (wine distillate), the result of a double distillation performed separately of various qualities of wines from the Treviso area.
The length of aging was calibrated according to tannin and lignin yields. The distillate is first placed in oak tonneaux to technically become brandy and then in Italian wood barrels to acquire the “EVO” style. These particular woods gave D Wine a deep amber color and transferred unique aromas to the product.

Wine: blend of Glera and Incrocio Manzoni
Aging woods: barriques of different native woods. Oak, Chestnut, Cherry
Aging time: close to five years
Color: deep brown with amber highlights
Nose: On the nose there are notes of raisins mixed with sensations of licorice, walnut, cinnamon and vanilla. A “sweet” aroma of ripe date, creme-caramel, nougat and carob further characterize the elegant bouquet. No alcoholic “pungency” can be felt
Taste: fine and intense, with hints of cotton candy, vanilla, ripe plum and citrus notes. A complex and velvety taste
Aftertaste: dried fruit tones and spicy notes are softly enveloped by a pleasant alcoholic sensation
