Ferrari Riserva Bruno Lunelli 2006 Trento DOC
The much-anticipated second vintage of the Riserva that Ferrari Trento dedicates to the founder of the Lunelli family is a collector’s bottle that also becomes an NFT. From the extraordinary 2006 vintage, this wine marks one hundred years since the birth of visionary entrepreneur Bruno Lunelli and is a unique collector‘s item. The result of painstaking work in the vineyard and in the cellar, the special Riserva is distinguished by the particular shape of the bottle with its convex bottom and is also matched with Ferrari Trento’s first NFT, a candidate to become the perfect synthesis of the House’s founding values.
Indeed, for 120 years Ferrari Trento has been writing a story of passion for the Trentino region and its mountain vineyards, in constant innovation. A characteristic that Bruno Lunelli had picked up from the founder, Giulio Ferrari, and was able to transform into an entrepreneurial spirit, kick-starting the company’s success. Today the grandchildren, the third generation of the Lunelli family, pay tribute to him with a large Riserva, made in only 6891 numbered examples, which enters the world of NFTs, a digital certificate of authenticity attesting to the uniqueness of each bottle.
After rigorous work to select the plots from which to draw the best mountain Chardonnay, a masterful blend and 16 years of aging, the 2006 Ferrari Riserva Bruno Lunelli raises the bar of perfection. Complex, deep, ripe yet light, with generous perlage and extremely long persistence, this signature bubble tightens a subtle bond between strength and finesse. Accomplice to the 2006 vintage, characterized by an alternation of weather events as peculiar as they were unexpected, the personality of this Trentodoc turns out to be unique, just like that of the man who bravely traced the path of success for Casa Ferrari.
The greatness of this bubbly, cared for in every detail by the House’s oenologists coordinated by Ruben Larentis, is also placed in maximum prominence by the particularly refined design that encloses it, a casket that protects and enhances the myth.
With this wine, which comes 11 years after the first vintage, 1995, and sees the light of day on the Cantina’s 120th anniversary, Ferrari Trento reinforces the link with its history but continues to look to the future, pushing the boundaries of excellence ever higher.
