Fichimori Tormaresca 2021 Salento IGT

The only red to drink cold. Tradition and modernity in a single bottle.

PRODUCTION
Cold pre-fermentation maceration (5 ° C) for 5 days, in order to extract the varietal aromas, the color and the softer polyphenolic components; it follows the drawing off and the fermentation without skins at 18 ° C.

TASTING NOTES
COLOR: Purple red with violet reflections.
BOUQUET: Fruity notes of cherry, strawberry, currant and pomegranate.
TASTE: Modern and dynamic interpretation of Negroamaro, striking for its pleasantness, drinkability and flavor.

RED TO DRINK COLD
The name of our wine, unique of its kind as a red “to drink cold”, is closely linked to the area where it is born, Salento, called in antiquity “The garden of Italy” for the richness and variety of its fruits. In fact, this wine owes its name to one of the most delicious fruits that grow in this area: the fig in the variety that is characterized by its purplish red color so intense that it approaches black (“moro” in dialect).
