Firriato Gaudensius Pas Dosé IGT Terre Siciliane
Fineness, complexity and typicality for this Gaudensius Pas Dosè from Nerello Mascalese. The evolution of the classic method sparkling wine is elevated even further with the goal of giving maximum value to the volcano’s princely grape variety. A run of very few bottles for a “nature,” upper-class wine where the volcanic nature of the production context and varietal fidelity excel above all else. The olfactory intensity is unusual for the richness of the hints of fruit but also of forest and brackish stone. The absence of dosage, enhances the varietal and best highlights its authenticity and character. After 40 months of aging it releases sensations that are pulsating, interesting, biting and suave at the same time.
