Francesco Guccione “P” Red Table Wine 2018

P, an indigenous grape variety of western Sicily. Historically used mostly for ruby marsala or in blends to give body to the grape varieties with which it was associated, when vinified in purity it conveys a decisive, fine and elegant expression but is also a grape that looks to the sea with iodine tones that graft well to the cooler’ characters of the grape variety. Vinified with light maceration the vintage offers a decidedly cooler interpretation than expected.
