Franz Haas Sofi Müller Thurgau Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2021
AREA OF PRODUCTION
The Müller Thurgau vines are trained using the traditional Pergola and Guyot systems at altitudes ranging from 500 to 800 meters. The soils, mixed between clay and porphyry, face south and southwest.
METHOD OF WINEMAKING
After a short maceration to promote aromatic extraction, the crushed (destemmed grapes) is gently pressed. Then the must is fermented at a controlled temperature in steel tanks and aged there for about five months and afterwards for a short period in the bottle
WINE DESCRIPTION
The Müller Thurgau has a vibrant straw yellow color, with aromas reminiscent of notes of muscat, fresh fruit, peaches and flowers (yellow primrose); it closes with an elegant, savory taste with a very pleasant finish. With convincing simplicity and fresh acidity, the wine seduces even in its youth.
PAIRING
The wine is suitable as an aperitif or as a simple accompaniment to light Mediterranean cuisine first courses, fish salads and fresh goat cheeses
