Denomination: Barbaresco DOCG
Variety: Nebbiolo
Vineyards: 14 vineyards located in the municipality of Barbaresco. The land, located at an altitude between 250 and 330 m asl, has a total area of ​​21.4 hectares.
The vines have an average age of forty years.
Vinification: the grapes from each single vineyard carry out the process of fermentation, maceration and aging in wood for twelve months separately.
Then we proceed with the assembly of the 14 vineyards and a further maturation of 12 months in wood.
Characteristics: the Nebbiolo grape is particularly sensitive to small differences in the nature of different soils. The union of the grapes from the 14 vineyards gives nuances of different terroirs, enriching the wine with complexity and balance. The wine smells of wild berries, flowers, delicate spices and mineral notes.
The structure is dense while rewarding elegance; the finish is long and with fine tannins.
