About the Professor
” is the brainchild of Carlo Quaglia -historic Piedmontese distiller-, Federico Ricatto -renowned chef- and the guys from the “Jerry Thomas Speakeasy” in Rome, recognized as one of the 50 best speakeasies in the world.
The recipe calls for a skillful blend of herbs and spices including juniper, lavender, orange, angelica, zedoària, rose, chamomile, and others, which, emphasized by the sweetness of the infusion with cinnamon and vanilla, result in an unusual product with intense floral notes.
Obtained by blending together both distillates of aromatic plants and infusions of spices and flowers, after slow maturation it arrives at the fascinating amber color that is characteristic and unique, introducing intense scents of juniper enriched by intense hints of fruit and flowers.
Round and silky on the palate, it expresses strength and, at the same time, great softness; it is enveloping and calibrated in alcohol, with the ability to stimulate powerful aftertaste returns.
