Graf Von Schönborn Holle 2018 Riesling QbA Trocken Hochheim
Schloss Schönborn offers another Riesling Trocken, produced in the Rottland locality, southwest of the Rheingau area, in one of the oldest areas for wine production, the first mentions in fact dating back to the year 1051; on this hillside the soils are characterized by a steep slope (33%), rich in dilimo-covered stones (löss, very fine aeolian sediment) that contribute to provide fruity sensations and a pronounced minerality in the wines.
Very low yields, great extracts, the 2019 is vinified in steel only and, with a residual sugar of 6 g/l, is appreciated for its already enveloping body, a disarming length sharp exhalations that veer on the saltiness in the finish before exotic and citrus ones. A taste of great, absolute, richness and freshness.
