Schloss Schönborn presents its Riesling Trocken, sourced from Rottland in the southwest of the renowned Rheingau area. This area, with mentions dating back to the year 1051, boasts soils characterized by steep slopes (33 percent) and a wealth of silt-covered stones (löss), elements that give the wines fruity sensations and a distinctive minerality.
Characterized by very low yields and large extracts, the 2019 is vinified exclusively in steel. With a residual sugar content of 6 g/l, it is distinguished by its enveloping body and disarming length, with distinct sensations that result in notes of saltiness on the finish, followed by exotic and citrus accents. A wine of extraordinary richness and absolute freshness.
