Grappa di Brunello Nannoni Sigaro Toscano Cl 70
Category: Extra-aged Italian reserve pomace brandy, distilled in Italy. Distillate for meditation.
Alcohol content: Alc.40% Vol.
Raw material: Fresh pomace of Sangiovese grosso, locally called Brunello, still dripping with wine.
Fermentation: Vinaccia from red wine making, kept in maceration during the wine fermentation process.
Distillation: Artisanal, with steam cauldrons and low-grade discontinuous column; head and tail cutting is done manually at each crush by the Master Distiller.
Aging: To accompany the Toscano cigar, we could only choose a pomace brandy of character and value, subjecting it for the occasion to a special aging process that is the real secret of this production: a wise use of appropriately chosen and toasted woods. Aging takes place inside the warehouse sealed by the Customs and Monopolies Agency, which guarantees and certifies its durability and methods.
Visual Examination: Presents a beautiful amber color with copper highlights.
Olfactory Examination: With great personality, it offers a kaleidoscope of scents that is as complex as it is surprising … Cigar smoking is evolution of taste and continuous renewal of sensations that change according to the stretch of cigar smoked; it was necessary, therefore, to make a distillate that would approach the cigar impetuously, with decisive aromas and flavors, so as not to be overpowered. Here is the search for the balsamic and spicy notes that are the hallmark of this product.
Gustatory Examination: Gauzy and respectful, it was born to be slowly a good companion of pleasures for the Toscano, in such a way as to be, on the palate, full and harmonious, almost sensual and at the same time feminine.
