A.E. DOR Cognac VSOP Rare Fine Champagne
A.E. Dor was founded in 1858 by Amédée Eduard Dor, scion of an ancient family, and over time has become an absolute benchmark thanks to its prestigious Cognacs. The very long aging periods in the secret cellar, called “Paradis,” which holds vintages even before 1874, evaporate the alcohol-the famous “partes des anges”-often leading to low alcohol contents: in 1951, the maison was the only one to obtain permission from the French administration to sell Cognac with an alcohol content below 40°. With rigor, experience and intuition, A.E. Dor crafts subtle blends to achieve a Cognac of character, balanced and elegant-each bottle helps fuel the legend of one of the world’s most famous producers.
