Hartmann Donà is proud to present its Blanc Mitterberg Bianco IGT 2019, an elegant cuvée composed of 60 percent Pinot Blanc and 40 percent Chardonnay. This wine expresses the tradition and winemaking excellence of South Tyrol, offering a unique experience. That’s what makes this new product special:

Main Features:

• Type: Blanc Mitterberg White IGT 2019
• Composition: 60% Pinot Blanc, 40% Chardonnay

Terroir and Grapes:

• The grapes come from ancient vines located on two different soils: one light and porphyritic, with high mineral content, and the other consistent, clay and limestone.
• Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, which have been grown in Alto Adige for more than 100 years, express themselves best in these suitable terroirs, resulting in wines with ripe fruit, soft body and evolving minerality.

Vinification and Aging Process:

• Grapes that have reached full ripeness are carefully and gently crushed, with the juice fermenting in wooden barrels.
• Natural malolactic fermentation follows the initial process.
• Matured on the lees for 23 months in barrels and then aged in the bottle for 2 years.

Sensory Profile:

• Aroma: Ripe fruit, round and enveloping.
• Taste: Smooth body with a minerality that comes to the fore after a few years of aging.
