“Blau & Blau” from Blaufränkisch (Franconia) and Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir) grapes. It has a rather intense ruby red color. Vinous, harmonious aroma with herbaceous and underbrush notes. The flavor is dry, elegant, fairly full-bodied, balanced. It goes well with dishes of Central European cuisine. Very pleasant pairing with a smoked pork loin with apple mustard, kren and vegetable compote. A recipe that has its tradition in Gorizia and Trieste and finds its greatest affinity with this wine by enhancing its characteristics. Already on the menu of a wealthy family in the 1800s in Gorizia, banquets were washed down with Franconia wine from the county.
