Distilled by Masahiro Shuzo, one of the oldest and largest distilleries in Okinawa, Japan. Kujira Ryukyu Whisky 31 years distilled from 100% Indica rice and crushed with “black koji,” a unique koji that could only be found in Okinawa. Aged in selected Sherry, Bourbon and White Oak barrels for more than 30 years before finishing in Oloroso barrels filled for the first time for 1 year to create more complexity on the texture. Limited offer, only 999 bottles globally. Unfiltered cold and uncolored.

Tasting notes:
Nose:
Dried fruits, caramel, woody spices, hints of tropical vegetables.
Palate:
Rich sweet elements of dried fruit, toasted oak, caramel pudding, tropical herb scent and fragrance.
End:
Smooth, elegant and long lingering finish with toffee and fruity flavors.
Type of barrel:
A blend of White Oak Virgin Cask, Sherry Cask, Bourbon Cask, and then finished 1 year in Oloroso Sherry Cask.
