BODY
Medium.
NOSE
Sweet, dry and early, wonderfully aromatic; clean, fresh and maritime, with top notes of sea air and Himalayan salt, supported by fragrant smoke-dried Lapsang Souchong tea, mineral salts and light cleansing ointment. Beneath these drier notes of cocoa powder and dried seaweed, with a splash of lemon zest, this salty sweetness soaked in wood smoke from a distant bonfire on the shore.
PALATE
The texture is smooth and pleasantly oily; the taste sweet to start then soon growling with intense lemon acidity, with a splash of sea salt and lingering char that speaks to each sip. The overall sweet-savory taste is round, softened and sweetened by a drop of water.
END
Long, with big waves of smoke, and roaring with chili heat. Even better with a drop of water. The smoke lasts wonderfully in the aftertaste.
