Terlan Lagrein 2019 Alto Adige DOC
Lagrein is undoubtedly one of the top grape varieties in Alto Adige, and it is gaining much interest mainly because of its fruity taste, enriched by its aromatic notes and soft tannins. This native grape variety originates from the Bolzano basin, but for several decades it has also been cultivated and vinified in Terlan.
Vinification
- Description:Manual grape harvest and selection. De-stemming of the grapes and subsequent slow fermentation at controlled temperature, and gentle handling of the must in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and aging for 7-10 months in large wooden barrels.
