And when it comes to the Laphroaig 25 Cask Strength single malt, there is no doubt that good things are worth the wait. This exquisite 53.4 percent vol whiskey blends Laphroaig’s famous tart flavors with a smooth sweetness after a quarter century in ex-Bourbon casks and barrels once filled with Oloroso sherry.
After maturation, the whiskey is extracted, filtered and bottled to its natural strength creating an experience equivalent to tasting at the source. Full-bodied and round, flavors of peat smoke and spice balanced by vanilla and apple glide across the palate with a remarkably smooth mouthfeel. The long, layered finish reflects the patience put into bottling this premium scotch.
