Mancino White Amber Vermouth Cl 75
Vermouth was created in Italy in the late 1700s; its name comes from the German term Wermuth (Arthemisia absinthium) and is a fortified wine made by adding herbs. To call itself such, it must be composed of at least 75% wine, have an alcohol content ranging from 14.5% to 22% vol. and contain artemisias. Mancino Vermouths are a creation of Giancarlo Mancino, a world-renowned bartender, produced since 2011. They are made with white Trebbiano to which are added about 40 herbs and spices selected directly by Mancino in different countries including India, Vietnam and Italy. These spices and herbs are ground using a traditional mill dating back to 1930: their extract is added with alcohol, sugar beet molasses (30 % vol.), Trebbiano (12 % vol.). After a period of stabilization in steel, the Vermouths are bottled. The classic range of Mancino Vermouths: Dry, White Amber, Red Amaranth, is also joined by Vermouth Chinato and Vermouth Vecchio (aged for 1 year in barrel). Giancarlo Mancino with the collaboration of his American partners Fasel Shenstone also created Rinomato (a tribute to the tradition of Piedmontese bitter liqueur aperitifs) and Americano Bianco (gentian-flavored wine).
A product of exceptional quality and refined organoleptic characteristics made through the fortification of a delicate Trebbiano di Romagna and the infusion of 37 herbs.
