Marc Brédif Crémant de Loire Heritage Extra Brut
Founded in 1893 by Monsieur Brédif, Maison Brédif is one of the best known and most respected houses in the region for its quality. Taken over by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette in 1980, the tradition of producing Chinon- and Muscadet-based wines continues to be kept alive in the very old 2-kilometer Luinghe cellars dug into the tuff.
Crémant de Loire Heritage Extra Brut, 70% Chardonnay and 30% Chenin Blanc, from the Coteaux de la Loire in Touraine and Saumurois.
Lower dosage, at 3 g/l, but still 18 months on the lees.
Fresh, subtle, on mineral notes and citrus nuances.
