We can hardly talk about Martin Miller’s gin, without mentioning its inventor.
Martin Miller is a character who described himself as a “gypsy”.
He made himself the figure of the self-made man.
He started with an antiques guide followed by a bed & breakfast before moving on to Boutique Hotels in England and finally to gin.
Now, for 10 years, Martin Miller’s gin has been a standard for trendy bars and connoisseurs.
It is distilled in small “batch” batches in a copper pot still called “Angela” built over 100 years ago by John Dore & Co., the Rolls Royce in the production of spirits.
It is then sent to Iceland to be diluted with extremely pure glacial water, before returning to England and finally bottled.
A journey of 3,000 miles, which makes it unique, intriguing and tremendously sexy.
