Vintage:
2019 was a fresh and balanced vintage. The volumes are low even though the quality is outstanding. Characterized by extreme weather conditions and perfectly healthy and aromatic grapes, 2019 saw weak rains (-50% less than usual), several frosts in April/May followed by heat waves in summer. The harvests began on Monday, September 9 in Côte Chalonnaise and ended on September 21 in Côte de Nuits.

Area: 6 hectares 31 a
Year of planting: 1963, 1971, 1974, 1975, 1982
Vinification:
Fermentation in wood 15 to 19 days.
Aging: in oak barrels for 15 months (30% new) selected for their fineness placed in cellars with constant humidity and natural temperature.
Tasting notes:
The nose develops aromas of black and red fruits accompanied by notes of wood and smoke. On the palate we find a wine of beautiful breadth with velvety tannins. Intense and mouth-watering fruit flavors are harmoniously combined to provide a warm vinoset.
