he 2013 Grand Vintage from Moët & Chandon is an unexpectedly balanced expression of a particularly favorable vintage for Chardonnay. This Champagne contains Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in almost equal parts, enhanced by a touch of Meunier. After aging for 7 years in the cellar, it reveals a truly unique character.

TASTING NOTES
Slightly golden color
Light golden reflections, fine and persistent perlage.
Autumn bouquet
The maturity of this Champagne is immediately evident, evoked by autumn notes of roasted chestnuts, toasted buckwheat, full-bodied nuts, honey and nougat. Next, a concentration of fruity notes is revealed, reminiscent of pickled lemon or well-ripened nectarine. Aromas of iodine, dried flowers and pine resin complete the bouquet.
A LIVELY, WELL-DEFINED PALATE
The palate is direct and energetic, supported by a lively yet delicate acidity and a refined structure encased in an elegant, grainy texture. The final note is characterized by a pleasant bitter hint of white grapefruit.
