OUTWARD APPEARANCE

BODY
Medium to full.
NOSE
A soft, round nose lulls the senses, then introduces an initial soaring note of freshly oiled wood. Next, rising through this, salty, meaty notes suggest the beast within but also bring a sweet acidity, suggesting roast pheasant with red currant jelly. The senses are heightened when these perfect aromas in turn reveal a deeper background note of heath, rich with heather pollen and freshly crushed grasses. A drop of water completes the wait, bringing out a sweet, fruity hint of lime.
PALATE
The pleasure increases again as a large, super-smooth texture envelops the palate. The wonderfully intense taste is vanilla sweet but easily embraces a savory, spicy-dry finish as the new oak makes its presence felt, with a surprising touch of chili in the swallow. Magnificently wild and full of life on the palate, these flavors run through the tongue.

Long and deeply impressive, with power, fruit and spice in perfect harmony as a warm peppery glow spreads through the aftertaste, where a hint of water brings out a fresh floral-grass note to brighten the deepest night.
