Navy Island
is a small tropical island located off the northeast coast of Jamaica, near Port Antonio.
In the 18th century it was used by the British Royal Navy (British Royal Navy), after which it was named. In 1940 a famous Hollywood actor was in Port Antonio and local legend says he won the island playing poker, during a hand fueled by plenty of good local rum.
As time went on, access to the island was closed by the government.

Navy Island remains today one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. The island’s rich history was the inspiration for the Navy Island brand of traditional Jamaican rum.

Small batch distillation (small batch) in pot stills is the traditional distillation method practiced in Jamaica. This artisanal production method yields very aromatic, medium- to full-bodied rums.
