Mediterranean red typical expression of Nero d’Avola, which composes it in purity.
A wine of great finesse and complexity, Nero di Serramarrocco is made from Nero d’Avola grapes harvested by hand in the 1.80-ha “Sakkara vineyard,” cultivated by Guyot with a planting density of 6,250 vines/ha and a yield of 65 quintals per hectare and 1.10Kg. per strain.
Elevated in 500-liter Allier Troncais tonneaux of second passage and medium toasting for 8 months.
6 months of bottle aging. First vintage 2002.
