The adventure began in 2003. At the time, New Grove benefited from the valuable input of Rum experts, thus creating a unique and original Mauritian Rum that harmoniously meets all international quality standards. The brand is a tribute to the rebirth of Mauritian know-how, to the ability to produce a Premium Rum fruit of Mauritius’ tropical land and its sugar cane. A “produit du terroir”-a genuine product.
To achieve this goal and position New Grove among the leading international brands, clean, undiluted and technical Premium Rums were created. The determination was to satisfy the preferences of true spirits connoisseurs.
New Grove’s current logo was the result of much study. The Blue Latan (Latanier Blue) palm leaf is the brand’s main icon. this endemic plant is the raw material from which arrack, the ancestor of Rum typical of Southeast Asia, was prepared.
